Wah...this is now my
third blog. Thought I had vowed not to start yet another blog, but hey...I'm kinda bored at home, so can't exactly blame me...:P To those who haven't figured it out, the blog's name is in tribute to ben and jerry's ice-cream!! Xiufang actually wanted to call it something along the lines of cookie-mudslide-monkey-pfish-oatmeal or chocomonkeydownacookiemudslide...Lol...but even
I can't remember that man.
Anyway, went cycling at east coast early this morning. I realise something darn weird...I slept at 1am last night...and woke up at 8am today...and i'm darn awake!! (Haha, xiufang pointed out how there was another day I slept at 10pm the night before, and woke up at almost 11am the next morning, and I sounded like a zombie on the phone... Hmmm so my body actually runs better WITHOUT sleep...:P) Anyway, saw this couple at east coast who were pushing along a baby pram as they were roller blading...Quite cute...I bet the children were having the time of their lives...What's NOT cute though was that the couple actually overtook me! Wah...I'm darn ashamed of myself...Should work out more...:P
Oh, and then went orchard for movies...I realised I haven't set foot in orchard for some time...Almost forgot the wonders of far east!! Haha...xiufang and I bought 3 pairs of earrings each from the stall with wall-to-wall (literally) earrings. Mine's a mickey mouse one, (before anyone starts to cringe-cum-puke at this...it REALLY isn't that bad...And i don't mean i have an entire mickey mouse character hanging down my ear, so don't worry :P) a flower one, and a wire christmas tree-like one (planning to wear this on christmas...:) ) Xiufang's right though man, my resistance for buying earrings really IS darn low...I really should stop it, or I can start entering myself into the Guiness Book of Records soon. :P
Anyway, movies was Inside Man. Xiufang finally managed to talk me out of Aquamarine, but seriously, I still don't see what's so bad about it...(Ok, aside from the fact that some critic from
Life commented about it as the movie 'for twelve-years and below') In fact, some gal at the ticket booth was suggesting it to her friends too! (haha, and here i shall blatantly ignore the fact that all her friends were giving her incredulous looks at that...) But really, I was just thinking that it's been a long time since i've gone for a chick flick, so no harm...:P Oh, and xiufang decided that if we really DO end up watching, both of us shall wear our handy matching mickey mouse earrings, so that we can (somehow) pass ourselves off as one of the "twelve-years and below" :P
Well, back to Inside Man. After spending about 2 hours staring at Denzel Washington's face, I still can't understand why Xiufang's so crazy about him...I mean, he's not bad-looking...but so's about every other guy in hollywood...And his character is quite charismatic...but that's ACTING. Haha...the mystery...The theatre was really tiny though...Counted 77 seats in all...Haha, the ticket collecting guy actually pointed me in the direction of the toilet...And for a while i was huh??? until I realised the small theatre room next to it...:P
Oh wells...enough crapping for now...Shall try to figure out how to incorporate some cookie or brownie or chocolate thingy into the background...Hope it doesn't end up like one of those online recipe websites though...:P (though honestly who am i kidding...I can't even understand the html code...Haha...:P)
