You know, I used to wonder what's e diff between those $40+ puzzle sets in shops, and those 2 for $10 ones you find at marketplaces...Haha, after spending part of yesterday with my puzzle, I've realised that the 2 for $10 ones:
1) are not cut properly, such that when you try to pry the individual pieces apart, they break into half, instead of one protruding and one concave...(then I had to scotch-tape the 2 pieces back together again...:P)
2) crumble apart when you give the completed sections a slight prod...(and here comes the handy scotch-tape...I really need to buy a few more rolls...;) )
3) have a few pieces that can actually fit into one puzzle piece (haha for a while I was wondering how come Tigger had such a
huge nose...:P)
Such a pity...cos I was planning on buying more of the cheap puzzles...No money for the $40+ ones lah...:P
Anyway, I've discovered a really nice new reality tv show! It's called Renovate My Family, on Channel 5 at 3pm every Mon-Thurs (haha oopz to those peeps who are working...;) ) The houses after renovation are all
so nice!! Makes me almost want to be an architect...except for the slight prob that I can't draw...:P Oh, you know my dad actually tried convincing me to be an architect for a period of time? Haha, I just laughed at the suggestion...I mean, me an architect? When all I can draw are stick ppl and square houses with triangular roofs?? Er...not exactly the best outlook for the future landscape of Singapore man..;)
Oh, and Xiufang, the lizard comment in your entry made me dream of my toilet being invested with lizards! Haha, and I was trying in vain to flush them all down the bathtub...-shudders- To all the animal lovers out there...this incident is
imaginery lah...So don't start suing me for animal abuse...:P And anyway, there's also such a thing as
population control, so I had to do what I had to do...;)
-XL :)
P.s. Can lizards swim? Cos in my dream...all of them were trying to swim against the current...and I don't know how realistic that is...Haha, stupid question...;)
