3c outing today! Turn out was not bad...8 guys and 8 girls...:P We trooped off to this place called The Mind Cafe at boat quay...To those who haven't heard of it, it's this cafe where you can order food to eat, and play board/card games at the same time...We started out playing taboo...where my team (me, yee wei, shen ye, teck tee, eng shing) promptly got trashed by the other darn pro team (weiting, sara loh, zhen chang, qi sheng, rong kai) Oh, for once, we didn't spend the whole class outing with the usual guy-girl divide!! Wah I'm proud of us man...:P Anyway, dinner was a set consisting of soup, main course of choice, brownie with ice-cream and drink...Then it was back to games...where we played Truth or Dare Jenga! Haha, luckily I didn't kena cause the thing to collapse, but then all the truths and dares were SO boring!! Eg. "What do you have under your bed?" and "What is the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?" Haha, teck tee was like, "err...do we care?!" ;) I think guys are inherently better in all these centre of gravity games though...Zhen chang and eng shing didn't even hesitate when they pull one tile out...While weiting and I are -poke poke prod prod- one tile, then if the whole structure shakes, then -poke poke prod prod- another tile, until we find one that we can pull out safely..:P Anyway, after that, I finally got to play Life for the very first time in my life! Quite fun...something like monopoly...Though as usual, my luck in the game is like crap...Started out owing the bank 100k cos of college education, then come out of college getting the lowest possible salary of 20k, then pick the house that is like on some fault line and is literally splitting in half...Haha talk about bad luck man...Though I suppose it DOES make playing the game exciting for me...Weiting was complaining about how her 'life' was so boring...:P Think I still prefer Lilian's Career game though..Pity it's not well known...couldn't even find it at the cafe...and there were A LOT of games there...
