Hmm...The offer for a place in the NUS University Scholar's Programme came through the mail today...Pity I already accepted the SMU Scholarship! Haha..ah wells...some things are just not meant to be...It would seriously have swayed me towards NUS actually...(and my dad would have rejoiced at that) but nevermind lah...What's done is done...I shadn't look back...:P
Anyway, was trying to promote all the taiwan and korean serials I have been watching to Lilian today...Haha, but she kind of gave me this realisation. Before I even started describing, she was like "let me guess...there is some good-looking, rich guy who then falls in love with some poor, but very hard-working and kind-hearted girl...right?" I actually started to protest...but hey guess what? When I think about it...Haha it's really IS like that...:P Let me give you a brief idea...
E Mo Zai Shen Bian: A good-looking rich guy falls for a poor (well actually more middle-class) girl
who is really kind-hearted, but who is also going to be his older stepsister. (His dad and her mum were getting married)
E Zuo Ju Zhi Wen: A good-looking, smart, and rich guy is pestered by a poor and stupid girl...but over time falls in love with her.
Wo De Ming Zi Jiao Jin San Shun: A good-looking rich guy falls for a fat, not so good-looking older girl who has a great personality.
Wah...the more I said...the more stupid I felt...Man, Lilian's one sentence REALLY does summarise all the shows I watch darn well...;) (Note to self: Never be a promoter for these kind of serials...EVER. I'll put people off with my um...wondering summaries...:P)

If the light is on, then the switch is 3, if the light bulb is warm, then switch 2, else switch 1. 5. Now go back and read the THIRD word in each line from the top.
P.s. Aiyah...how come blogspot can't read chinese?? And to think I spent SO LONG trying to recall my han yu pin yin so as to type the names of the serials out in chinese...;)
