Some things are difficult to read, and painful to know...
Check out life's review of Pixar's Cars: "Pixar! Pixar! Pixar! Who cares about the content, it's a new Pixar cartoon! -4 stars" Lol...though I admit Pixar is THE animation powerhouse in our time, and Cars is a must watch...but what kind of review is this?? If I remember correctly, life also gave a similar review for King Kong..."Peter Jackson is the director. Enough said. -4 stars" Haha...like that even I can become a movie critic...;)
Anyway, finally got to watch X-men yesterday! Initially got stuck in a huge jam cos of the suntec book fair cum PC fair...but thank goodness the released tickets (I arrived later than 30min before the start of the movie) had not yet been snatched up by the time I went to collect them...so all in all got good seats! :P Contrary to popular belief, I actually thought the movie was not too bad..considering how many spoilers I already knew! :P If I were James Marsden (Cyclops), I would have been appalled at the script though...He barely said 5 lines...and it's GOODBYE...Darn, and I LIKE cyclops...Oh, and it's sad that Rogue barely got to do anything at all in this film too...:(
Oh...and also saw the trailer for the Superman movie...and it looks darn good! Haha, can't believe I am saying this..(not a great Superman fan...) but I actually want to watch it! This adds to my collection of movies to watch...Pirates of the Carribean, Just my Luck, Cars etc...And add in the GSS...and man I'm gonna be BROKE...Haha, I've vowed to build up my wardrobe this couple of months cos the SMU people are all so well-dressed...and I have to find something to wear every single day...not like the good old uniform days anymore...:) So this month is really byebye to all my $$...;)
