Am in somewhat of a zombie state now...Woke up at 9am cos I couldn't drag myself out of bed to make it to NUS at 10am. However, turned out that when I reached at 11am, there was only Joanna, Wenlin, King Man, Wai Mun and Vikrum there, so I'm actually...well...kind of early! Felt a little bad though really, cos the other ogs had like almost everyone there by that time, and ours just looked sad...with less than half present...
Anyway, got the banners for the two booths, 'Whacko' and 'Say Cheese!' up. Eugene was so funny with his donkey drawing, which ended up looking like a dog that had whiskers and rabbit ears. Then he kept insisting that it HAD to be a donkey, since he wrote the word "ee-yore" next to it...which is "a sound that dogs don't make!" :P Thank goodness ppl managed to recognise the mouse I drew for what it is...even though there were still comments about it being a "weird-looking mouse". :P But have to say, the banners looked nice when they were done!! :D
Headed to NUS High School later than planned, around 3pm. Kept Mich waiting there, cos she arrived at 2pm to crash our og. Oopz. I think she was quite sian, cos we were all mainly preparing stuff, and not really talking much to her. Hmmm wrong time to crash the og I guess. Anyway, got the balloons pumped up with the help of Mich, Vincent, Eugene and Edward, who were helping me with the tying, which i honestly suck. Getting the pinatas hung up nicely took a real LONG while though, cos we realised that the whole structure was not very stable, and had to redo everything. After that though, played Ultimate Frisbee! Haha, my team of 5 girls and 1 guy actually beat the other team with ALL GUYS! Achievement of the day...:P
Because I got all sweaty and smelly after that, had to detour back home to shower before meeting up with Wan and her family for dinner at Mercure Roxy Hotel. Food was disappointing, though the dessert of Durian Paste, Cheese Cake, and Bread and Butter Pudding was heavenly. :) Which reminds me that I've yet to settle details for class outing.
Note to self: Send sms out to everyone about time and place, and find some ppl to drag along to buy the food for the bbq...;)-XL :)
