lunched with shim and serene today. poor girl shim just had operation on her molars..but nonetheless, she was the one who was eating the most! haha..wah she really couldn't stop eating. nice to see serene after so so long! so lucky, she got to spend one mth in china! hahas. yayy at least we're going to the same place..backpacking during our summer breaks k!!

met up with Manling in the afternoon - zara. mango. then we caught Superman Returns, which was not very good :( aiks. we both rated superman a miserable 2 stars, and we were lamenting how movies are getting worse and worse nowaday. Brandon Routh is really cute. and superman's son..super adorable. but yeah, that's about it. the rest of the movie is really plotless and shapeless..the two villains were not even evil; they were slapstick-humorous.
nevertheless, i'm keeping my hopes up for Pirates!

The E.Q. Bar
went pubbing with Jo and Sally at The E.Q. Bar, where Shi Qi is currently working now..a really nice place with great ambience :) i like. we had choco martini (superbly good. a must try!), lychee martini, some pink drink which tastes like antibiotics (according to sally!), potato wedges and irish beef pie. world cup was on! Germany vs Argentina!!! go Argentinaaa. ahh, we were so excited before the match began..was really expecting a lot of screaming and shouting and goals.but it turned out to be so disappointing! aiks. we only caught the first half, then we left the place 'cos it was getting way too crowded alr. and shiqi's so funny..she'll keep popping by our table to talk to us, complain abt her boss, then scoot off. we felt stressed watching her work..hehe. cheated by taxi drivers who refused to pick us up till midnight so we kena surcharge. hmph!
