yay. i'm pretty happy with my purchase at gramophone today :)
will be back for more! my current list consists of nickelback, system of a down, korn, simple plan and switchfoot. argh, but i'm broke! :(
a satisfying day out with lilian and xinling today =) haha was gonna compare our chao-ta-ness today, but realised tt our tan has faded. aiya! thank you lilian for the brownies! :) :) they're super nice and super good.i'm sorry for the unglamorous gluttony today... i really couldn't resist them! haha i finished my brownies before xinling even started on hers. oh man..i think my eating prowess is becoming more powerful these days. i'm eating faster than my bro, who eats like a cow by the way. boohoo.
zara kids at liat towers. oh my oh my they have nice stuff there! haha. and it's the kids section la. found things which we could actually fit into..i can fit into clothes meant for kids 11-13 yrs old! why are american kids so big? or maybe im just as small as 11-13 yr old american kids. :(
highlight of the day was Minds Cafe at prinsep street! loved the place totally.. it's a great place to hang out with a bunch of friends and play no-brainer games like Loot! which isn't exactly a no-brainer..cos still gotta plan and strategise when to launch ur merchant ship, loot other merchant ships and when to use your merchant captain wisely. had many laughs over that game, let's go back for more!! :) other no-brainer games included Queens, Cat and the Rat, and some game about bidding for gold mines. because they served free flow drinks, i drank and drank so much i kept running to the toilet in between games. haha, and i met shu-en and yi xiu at Minds too! hope we can have a bigger group next time =D then we can play the haunting house!
squash at slf. not a very big group tonight..uncle jason was there! hahaha. it's always so hilarious to discuss soccer with him cos he's one ultra crazy soccer fanatic, and when u get him started on it u will never hear the end of him. after the first game...soccer. after second game..soccer. after third game..soccer again. all the way till supper. still soccer. when we finished our game and the tennis guys came over, wahhhh even more soccer! haha.
had supper with uncle alfred, uncle daryl and unlce jason (no char kway teow for you tonight!) at toapayoah. im such a hawker centre ulu pumpkin. ate satay mee hoon for the first time in my life. i must have my fill of char kway teow, hokkien mee and rojak before i leave! hehs. im gonna miss all the oily late night suppers, and also watching uncle jason doing his animated stuff as he regaled us with his soccer tales. tsk tsk, like he used to sharpen his soccer boots studs and stepped on his opponents. Ouch! yayy. uncle daryl's planning soccer night-out at devil's bar. anyone interested?
i really feel like swimming. hopefully, if i wake up early tmr! :0
