Sentosa! The sun, the sand and the sea...
Haha actually the sun was kind of missing at the start. Our whole og had barely settled in to a game of captain's ball at Siloso Beach when it started pouring darn heavily! Killed the time playing dai de (king man was darn pro! Cleared all her cards when only longjin had put down one, and the rest still had ALL of their cards...:P) until the rain stopped, then my team for captain's ball (peiyin, wei chin, kyle, king man, vikrum and wei cong) started getting thrashed by the other team (wenlin, wai mun, joanna, ryan, long jin, fabio and vincent) even though all the guys in my team were like towering over the guys in the other team! :P Haha, luckily managed to "regain our honour", as wei chin put it, in the second half after edward joined us. By then though, was kinda stoning with wenlin already cos we were tired of running (we were blocking each other) and just stood rooted to the spot until the ball came our way. :P
Then somehow we managed to get a beach volleyball court! Hmmm...usually it's so hard to find one on weekends. My volleyball seriously cannot make it...but longjin was a national team player, so just relied on him to send the ball over...:P Haha, we all started calling Ryan the sissy player (he says he plays for a Community Centre, or CC), then he was all "i'm going to play properly now" and -whack-, served the ball into the net. :P Then it was off into the sea! Wah shiok. Before that i was feeling so hot and sweaty, but then the water was really nice and cooling! :) Peiyin and i kept getting washed to shore by the huge waves created by the ships passing by, then we had to wade ourselves back into the water to get rid of all the sand that was washed up with us. :P Poor joanna was the only one left on shore though, cos she didn't bring change of clothes. Haha, for a while she didn't even dare come near us, what with Kyle going "hey joanna! Come!! Come talk to us!!" and -huge grin-, making her think that we were planning on dunking her into the water. :P Oh, but singapore water is really quite dirty. Apparantly there was this durian shell in the water, and waimun actually stepped on it! Ouch. For dinner, cos everyone didn't think too highly of the food at harbourfront, went down to suntec and after walking round and round the restaurants around the fountain of wealth (haha i was willing them to decide on something...anything...cos i was SO hungry), finally settled on carls' jr! There were no available seats, so we ordered takeaway and brought the food to the suntec skygarden. Ordered onion rings with my set, blatantly ignoring the fact that i had sore throat. (thank goodness my throat doesn't seem any worse today..:P) Well, some food are just worth getting a sore throat over. :P We were initially thinking of playing the "i've never" game, but then i had to leave, so everyone else started zaoing too. Oopz, wet blanket. Haha, not that there's any interesting and scandalous secrets to be dug out of me even if i did play anyway. I'll probably end up eating/drinking the least. :P-XL :)
