here's really a dedication to you for all the trainings..though sometimes it may be inconvenient due to ur hectic work schedule. i really appreciate the effort that u put into every single training, and you're a great coach in the sense that u never fail to remind me to try trY TRY. and never give up. in spite of disappointing performances, you never flare up but constantly encourages me from outside the court. it is you who have taught me how to be mentally strong...that everyone CAN be a winner in the court. the ball is round, nothing is impossible. i will miss your trainings..and the funky shopping trips!! hahaha.

The Dresser... with vaish, xinling and melissa
we caught the production at dbs arts centre. adrian pang is a fantastic play actor with great humour and wit...he is a true comedian who played the role of the dresser really really well. but i thought the downfall of the production was the lack of depth and development in the story. basically, the play is based on the life of one of England's greatest Shakespeare actors, Sir Donald Wolfit. As Sir's temperament reduced him from a great legendary actor to one who couldn't even hold himself together on stage, it is up to Norman (Adrian) to hold him and his entire career together. it wasn't as promising as it sounded, because throughout the entire play, it just showcased Sir's extremely temperamental emotions, what with him shouting like a tyrant at times and whining like a 2 yr old kid the next. we came out of it thinking, "huh, so what exactly IS the whole point?"
supper at prata house with dan. we ordered SO MUCH food, guess we really over-estimated ourselves. hahaha. bomb prata, honey paper prata, plaster prata, durian prata and 3 milo dinosaurs. super bloated. *oinkz*
