ITALY WON! YAY!! Wah, what drama there was on the pitch though...what with Zidane's outburst...Pity that's the way he has to exit international football though...Being France's captain, and this being his last world cup, yet not being able to be with his other teammates for the presentation ceremony...that's just sad...I don't believe that he did it unprovoked, but looking at the circumstances, he should have kept his temper in check. Ah wells. Really glad Italy won the penalties though! Was watching the "More than a Game" documentary for a while before the match, and Italy's history for penalty shoot-outs has not exactly been stellar, so was actually kind of doubtful...but they proved me wrong! Thank goodness for that France guy's miss...Cos for every other penalty, Buffon was actually diving in the wrong direction...:P Speaking of which, FIFA should start handing out awards for "Most convincing dive", one being the dive that gave France the penalty kick in the finals...Haha, no contact, and still got the penalty kick. You got to hand it to the player. And sadly, I was again watching the match alone, so was generally protesting out loud to myself at the point, although i was also typing out my outrage to May online...(but that's just not the same...:P)
Anyway, XF's birthday celebration yesterday!! Went to our usual hang-out: Orchard. XF's prezzie?: Lost Season 1 (which i seriously hope she'll watch faster than the rate she's watching the taiwan serial I lent her...:P) Was initially planning to watch King and the Clown, (which Lilian is HIGHLY excited about ;) ) but show times were lousy, so settled with just walking around, eating at the Bistro at Cine, and taking neoprints! Xiu and Weiting were basically quite conked out from watching the 3rd placing match the night before though, so left early to garner enough rest for the finals! Photos for the celebration's with XF, which I'm sure she'll post up soon, but before that, shall just post up a couple of the neoprints we took...;)

Somehow I'm always doing bimbo poses in Neoprints...But at least in this pic, everyone looks happy!! :D
