2 crazy monkeys walking down orchard road
i had such a fun & crazy time out with yvette today! hahaha..it was seriously like 4hrs of non-stop high and talking & talking & talking. it's funny how girls can get happy & high over small things and guys will just think that we're pure mad. haha:) we went to hsbc in the morning to set up our accounts, and the convo with the lady over the counter was ultra random. for some reason, we started talking about mac notebooks and birkenstock! haha, of all things. yes, and we bumped into shona & jasmine!
then it was shoes shoes shoes galore at Mondo. finally got my black stilettos, although im still drooling over the blue nautical heels. haha owells, i gotta save or else im gonna end up reli poor in london. then we went lingerie shopping at Tangs! (haha! yes yes xinling, i know i know. grins) the changing room there is sososo gorgeous it really looks like a queen's room.hehe.
the rest of the time we were just walking ard, talking about God. about church. and im so excited because we're gonna find the same church to attend in london! yay:) at least now i know ive got a crazyfunkyfunny church-cum-shopping pal. heh!

hahaha.it was so funny..we had like 8 pairs of slippers on the floor cos two of us were super indecisive and couldn't decide which one to get. until we had to ask the sales guy. haha! i think he was quite amused by us..hee hee! and to think that the girls' selection is so much smaller, compared to the guysssss, which are also much nicer by the way.we were saying how we would have spent like 2hrs there if we were guys la. very fussy and vain guys. haha :):) ok, squashsquashsquash. byeeee!.:Xiufang:.

memories memories :)
was packing up my room, and found many many good, fond memories. there were bad ones as well, but as i have told God... i'm going to move on. i really thank God for putting all of you guys into my life...each of u have brought your own unique funk & colour into my otherwise mundane days :):) so thankyouuuu!!

Second week of school, and already I have managed to accumulate a lot of readings that I've yet to touch. Sad. Gladly, I was able to take a breather on fri. Met up with lilian and xf after class to watch Lovewreaked at lido. Haha, crappy movie really. Check out this line: "You rock me two times around the world" Errr ok...The group of ACS guys sitting next to us were quite hilarious though. Provided most of the comic relief throughout the movie.
Ryan (character in movie): I really like you.
Jenni (Amanda Bynes): But we are friends...
ACS guys: Haha, she doesn't like you man!
And amazingly, there were people who were CLAPPING after the movie ended, to which the ACS guys decided to join in and shout "bravo!". Haha, got all 3 of us cracking up...:P
Anyway, on the spur of the moment, tried out for NUS Resonance, and thanks to my wonderful and neverending cough, my voice threatened to break during my song, and DID break when they were testing out my vocal range. -cringe- Haha, thus it's no surprise that I got rejected. Ah wells...didn't have high hopes of getting in anyway...but at least it was worth a shot. :P

SOJOURN!!
it was a helluva fun!
met a lotta new and fun pple... really looking forward to school now. hee hee :) i hope the pictures will suffice, because so much has happened that im simply too tired and lazy to blog everything. i simply had a blast of a time...the beach games, night activities, amazing race, bbq, the drinking truth-or-dare games (where clement and cheryl displayed both of their mean porno streaks haha!) and polar bear! fun fun fun, i lurve sojourn!

I need a birthday calendar. Came to this conclusion today when I checked the 3c class list and realised (to my absolute horror) that Vicky's birthday was almost a month ago, when I thought she was born in end AUGUST, not end JULY. And she remembered mine! Ahhh...guilt is seriously setting in. My bad. :(Anyway, another boring day spent at home trying to finish the LAWR assignment and somehow go through and digest all 100 pages worth of beckman. Worse thing is I drank cafe latte (to my regret really...so bitter...) during dinnertime...so now I'm kind of caffaine-boosted...which is prolonging this long day...At least I'm going out tomorrow evening...This week i'm simply dying of boredom.-XL :)

What I've done on my early days in school...tues: go for lecture --> eat lunch with jen (she crashed :P) and og in school --> go homewed: go for lecture --> eat lunch with og at Coronation Plaza --> go homefri: go for lecture --> eat lunch with og at Curry Wok near Coronation Plaza --> go homeSigh...start of school is making my life boring...:PAnyway, met up with the 3c peeps at the airport yesterday to send qisheng off. It was great meeting up with them again, although it meant that one of us was flying off to the US. But I'm sure that, aside from missing his family and friends, qisheng will have a great time studying at Duke! :D Teck tee was all "hmmm no one has changed much...still look the same..." Haha, but errr...we haven't met up in what...a couple of weeks? How to change?? Lol.
It struck me just HOW MANY ppl in my class are doing med though. Out of all the girls who were there...I was the only one who was not a future-doctor-to-be. Cos sitting down and talking to them...I realised that they're all talking about med classes, and I'm like the only one looking clueless. Well, laura and cheryl were equally uninformed i suppose, but that's only cos they're doing med overseas...so havent' started classes yet, not cos they're in some other thing (aka law), like me...:P
And I've come to realise just how DEPRIVED army guys really are. Rong Kai, of all ppl, was saying that "You know...after i've gone into army...for 5 days a week...all i see are these old cleaning ladies or these muscular girl officers...then suddenly when i come out, it's like all the girls have become prettier! Like when you walk down orchard road on the weekends, everywhere you turn...'whoa! chio!' It's feel like i'm in Japan!!" Hahaha..i was laughing so hard that i was almost crying! :P Army really DOES do something to your brain...;)
