durian outing at geylang wheeee! we had mao shan wang (hairy mountain king) and d24 tonight. look at the durians! they are really really YELLOW. like the deep rich yellow kind... i liked the mao shan wang better. it's really good, much 'creamier' than the d24, though the guys liked the latter (cos according to liksin, d24 tastes like it has alcohol haha). the durian uncle was super funny. he was like shocked and flabbergasted when we asked for d24... he was like, "Why do you want d24 when you have maoshanwang? maoshanwang so nice! after u eat that, u don want d24 anymore!" blah blah blah. hahahha. owells but he was nice, he treated us to a d24. hee hee. ahhhh i want more durians, but i think my throat can't take it anymore. bleah.
dou jiang you tiao
Yummy. went for dou jiang you tiao after durian... we had mee sua you tiao also. hee hee. quite nice :):) i wanna go back for more! haha. though we kinda ended up super full and bloated. OINKS. but it was a really really satisfying supper tonight i must say...i can now sleep on a happily-filled tummy. haha. cannot la. die i must start running 5km tmr alr...gotta burn burn burn!
