FOP brought the heavens down to the indoor stadium tonight!!!

just got back home from 2 wonderful, simply amazing services today :)
morning service was a celebration of chc's 17th anniversary. there was an ultra humungous cake! it was really really tall and really really biggg. like one big tower of... yea, cake. Jack Neo was there too. wahaha. and we had a baby dedication service too! where Pst Kong prayed for all the newborn babies. Ooooo many many cute babies received their blessings today :):) looking at all the babies really brought out my maternal instincts. haha! i want babies, they are simply the cutest things alive. yea xl, i still want my bball team. hahaha.
FOP (festival of praise) was a blast tonight! i thoroughly enjoyed myself to the maxxxx. with Don Moen and the Christian City Church Band, the whole indoor stadium was rocking within the first 2 songs. hahaha. i grew up listening to don moen's songs, but never really expected to see him in person. so when i heard that he's performing for FOP this yr, i literally went high. hee hee. yan ping and i spotted these 3 cute ol' ladies who were dancing and bobbing to the music like they were 30 yrs younger. haha! so funky :)
on the way home, me and sally were discussing which band we thought was the best this year. outta those which performed in church. we came to the conclusion tt it was CCC. cos even though delirious? and reuben morgan could bring down the presence of God like CCC, but there's this special quality abt CCC that makes pple wanna love God more. just like how Rev. Dr. Phil Pringle does his sermons :)
He never sleeps, He never slumbers, He never tires of hearing our prayer. When we are weak, He becomes stronger. So rest in his love, and cast all your cares on him. For He works in ways we cannot see.

Chicago Cheesecake! ARGH!! on our way back from J8, sally and i walked past coffee bean. and right before that, i was telling her i am NOT going to buy any cheesecake. but lo and behold, our tiresome feet somehow brought us there and i ended up with a Chicago Cheesecake home! eeks. there goes my plan to lose weight before i leave for london. (yea dan, i give up. wahaha) i confess. i am a huge sucker for FOOD. i simply CANNOT give up food. i don't understand how girls can starve??!! it's totally beyond my imagination. anyway, so here i am currently eating my ultra sinful cheesecake and envisioning my ballooning waistline in the next few mnths' time. YIKES. i don't wanna grow fat and die early of heart attack :(:(
i am now in an ultra sad and fat state of mind.
