im lurving it!im lovin the buildings, the people, the cars on the roads....Ooooo so many nice nice sleek sports car.and all those hot pink london cabs, which i didn't manage to take photos of :( more pics tmr! haha yea, btw we just came back from dinner with some of the seniors, whose apartment we're living tonight..before we start moving into our respective halls tmr morning.we ate at some chinese restaurant..and the portions were HUMUNGOUS!like ziyang's duck cum char siew rice...it was just huge.hahaha.

im suffering from lack of quality sleep.will turn in soon.till tmr!! :):) goodnight london, good morning singapore.

The day for you to head for London finally came...:( Will miss ya gal! Hanging out at Orchard won't be the same without you man..Will miss how we'd spend more than 30min choosing earrings at the far east shop, all so we can make up 3 pairs for the 3-for-$12 deal; our almost weekly routine of catching a movie at cine/lido, as soon as a nice new movie comes out; our food hunt for new eating places, one of our greatest finds being Billy Bombers at Heeren; our constant craving for MOS Coffee Shake, even though the Taka one is always somewhat watery; and how we'd try on loads of clothes at different shops and then egg each other on to buying the pieces we tried on...Must remember, in London, prices are 3 times that of Singapore, so convert before you buy anything ya! Haha, don't go 'oooo...20 pounds for this top!' and then happily go buy, and then realise that it's almost 60 bucks...:P

i woke up this morning and the feeling was so surreal.i can't believe im leaving tonight!!
morning was spent trying to pack pack pack pack until i almost went crazy with all the clothes ard my room.feeling slightly peeved cos i couldn't fit everything in, i called uncle robson.hahaha ahhhh how i wish he was here to help me pack! then i wouldn't be floundering about like a drowning fish.

uncle robson:
"Jialat la you...why u bring 10 jackets???take them out! bring 2 enough!"

i can't imagine myself surviving on 2 jackets. i will freeze my ass off.

met daryll for a short lunch at fish&co. pasta & prawn salad. followed by jedi mudster at nydc. haha:) then headed down to meet ryan.thanks for bidding farewell! i will be back very sooN! then it was homeward bound to continue with more disastrous packing.i think my weighing machine is kinda spoilt, cos it kept giving me different weighings :(:( HMPH. owells. went to play badminton for a while with my daddy...think my bro's not sending me off at the airport tonight cos he got exams tmr. BYE BYE I WILL MISS U!

okkk.im gg prata house now to meet jo, my last prata!! then its dinner wif family...and then im headed to the airport. see you guys!:)

Haha, two days in my house, and i was already starting to get attached to it...:P Pity its sleeping pattern is the exact opposite of mine...So guess what I've been staring at it do all day long? Haha, and hence the name. :P Weiting has decided to call it Luncheon Meat instead though. Yikes...makes it sound like she wants to eat it. :P

woots. went to seafood restaurant with uncle francis and auntie janet.thanks for the treat! i really had a great time :) it's been a long while since i last indulged in crabs.the queue was super long tonight, but it was well worth the wait.the crabs were beyond mere satisfying =) happyhappy

was mightily pleased when i got home and dad told me grandma has given me a financial blessing.at least i feel a tad less poor now. haha

it has been a whirlwind of activities the past few days.catching up with old old friends whom i havent met since stone age, buying last min necessities, chionging ard town trying to get my local & uk hsbc accounts done etc etc.as the days are counting down, i realise i really have not much time left.so many more pple to meet up with and so much more to pack!but in the midst of all the back-to-back activities, im really enjoying my last few days left in s'pore. :):)

went down to dsta in the morning to collect my bank draft! felt a bit richer..but yet not so at the same time, cos i can only cash the money when im in london! hahaha ive been burning more than a gaping hole in my pocket lately =( ahhhh and the currency exchange rate now stands at a staggering 3.03!!! omg.im gonna lose so much money when i change my dollars into pounds :(:(:( wasted more $$$ today buying the casio fx-85ms calculator..eeks it's such a lousy model, i don't understand why imperial is using it.

then we went to nus arts canteen for lunch.met quite a few pple there..leila, angel, yiting, sabrina, lee han & joyce:) wah nus so happening haha. i crashed han's chinese lec for 5mins, couldn't take it cos the teacher was so so so boring.zzzzz.dinner was at wheelock fish & co with terence...New York fish & chips!!! hahaha i know im gonna get my fill of f&c in london, but owells..i couldnt resist it cos of the yummy cheese filling inside!RAWR!

my driving instructor was hilarious today..i laughed until can die.

i realised how much 10 months of stagnancy can do to your brain.i think half of mine is gone.my bro was asking me about organic chem.. and all i can rem is zilch.except for the fact that maybe alkenes have double bonds?hahaha

My LTCL piano exam results: 39/100 *sobz*

Ah wells...knew it would have taken a miracle to get a passing grade...so kind of saw that coming...It was quite amusing hearing my piano teacher attempt to break the news gently to me though:

(phone conversation)
Me: Hi Mrs Goh. My dad told me you called. Are my results out? How is it?
Mrs Goh: Yes they are. Errr...-pause-...you didn't do very good...
Me: Haha, oh i failed?
Mrs Goh: Errr...Well, remember how I told you that others would take 2 years before they take the LTCL, and you attempted it in 6 months? Ya...considering the circumstances, you know...

Anyway, went out with Xiu today...haha as you can see from the post below (man xf you post entries darn efficiently! I have barely reached home for a few hours, and the post is up already!!) The Banquet is definitely a must watch, but it kind of became a mini comedy with xiu's commentary, especially when one of the characters died mysteriously in the end, and the murderer was not shown

Xiu: Who killed her? The old guy? Someone came back from the dead?? -camera zooms in on the empty yard area behind the murder scene- Oh...the pond! -camera zooms in on the pond- The goldfish! -credits start rolling- HEY! How can they not tell us who killed her?!?!

Then after the movie...
Xiu: Oh you know at the start of the movie, I found something the narrator said was quite funny
Me: -tries to recall what could be vaguely amusing-
Xiu: You know...he said huang2 chao2 da4 bian4 (think pun :P)

Lilian's sms which came shortly after the movie ended was darn funny too! Xiu and I had a great laugh over it...:P Lilian how can you show such perverted tendancies?? Giving graphic details of a girl wearing SHORT shorts...Tsktsk. :P

Oh, and got a box of 4 four seasons d24 durian snowskin mooncakes! YUM! Which also means 4000 calories...Haha, i should work out more these days. :P XF and i literally ate dinner by checking out and sampling the mooncakes at all the stalls at taka. Feeling a bit sick now from eating all those sweet stuff. Maybe i should steer clear of the sugary foods these few days (though the durian mooncakes beckons. :P)

hahahah.and i can feel the sugar rush from all the mooncakes. YIKES. this is so so so sinful.tho i was horribly tempted by the four seasons' died-and-went-to-heaven durian mooncakes, i didnt get any in the end!


zhou xun in The Banquet

im so glad we caught the banquet today, cos it's a great great show.you will definitely marvel at the grandeur of the palace and the costumes of the cast.and i really like the way mandarin was spoken during the dynasty era..it's got a nice poetic feel to it.haha :) and Zhou Xun was quite outstanding in this show; she portrayed her role very well.her character is equivalent to Ophelia from Hamlet, which was said to provide inspiration for this movie.

haha i was pretty amused by lilian's ultra perverted sms today.heehee! don worry girl i wont divulge it..your dirty lil secret is safe with me:) hahaha.but it was pretty hilarious.lilian is a naughty naughty girl..tsk tsk!

was at the mooncake food fest at taka yest with sally..i ended up buying a box of red wine and green tea mooncake home! they've got many new flavours now, like mango, pomelo, sweet corn, chocolate, coffee, sakura, jasmine...we were so greedy we wanted to get everything!hahaha.redwine is super addictive..tho after a while it gets a wee bit sweet.but i lurve it!=D

zara and mango are selling really nice thick comfy winter jackets now! AHHHHH.no no no i am not going to buy cos my luggage is bursting beyond limit alr. :(:(

thank you so much guys...for yesterday, for everything. the farewell party was great fun, the food was good, and though it rained..it didn't dampen our mood cos the company was excellent! HUGS. thanks to all those who turned up for the party:):) and as cliche as it may sound, but im still gonna say it anyway from the bottom of my heart...that it would have been impossible without all of youuuu!! and i am so gonna miss you guys very very muchhh.getting high over slapjack& heart attack, girl talks, laughing ourselves silly, playing haidai (haha!), and watching 4dollars being her funny self...hhaha.been spending so much good times with some of you recently, i seriously thought i would have turned les.(hahaha!)no no.. pls don get funny ideas now, cos yeah.. that was just my damn off way of saying that: i simply had so much fun with you =D
