today's sermon was lesson 8 of the marriage workshop.it dealt with the marital pyramid, dysfunctional parent-child r'ships & emotional baggages in marriages.the sermon really got me thinking today.a r'ship can really be like heaven on earth during courtship; everything can be perfect just like a fairytale - airy, fluffy and just sweet pure romantic bliss.but it is upon marriage when the real probs begin to set in.though the msg was targetted more towards the married couples, but i felt that it's good to listen to these kinda sermons. it really opens you up to a whole new level of understanding about marriage - why some marriages work out while others just don't.i've been enjoying the previous sessions of pastor's marriage workshop, because his sermons are always so endearingly sweet that you just can't wait to get married. haha :):)
met yvette after church today. more comex shopping! haha.yay i finally got my ixus 60 so i don't have to keep koping my bro's lumix. hehe.and got some miscellaneous stuff like thumbdrive and webcam.we couldn't wait to get outta the place cos it was so insanely crowded that you can't move one step w/o stepping onto someone else.eeks, i have a strong aversion to crowds.we did more barang barang shopping at bugis.today wasn't exactly shopping shopping, it was more like having to get all our necessities, the impt stuff.it was really madness cos we had qte a lot to buy...our arms were aching like crazy.and the crowd at bugis was so so so bad.we were totally at the brink of exhaustion alr.jus wanted to collapse in the middle of bugis road.hahah.
i smell chicken rice. ok food beckons.haha!
