ALTON TOWERS!

one of london's most happening theme parks! the rides were awesomely cool and thrilling! :):):)

poor yvette was so scared of the cold...so she was nicely wrapped up for the trip =D

NEMESIS

the most infamous of all rides, known to be blazzing fast with lots of zero-Gs..according to our seniors, but which we thought was pretty disappointing. though there was one part of the ride which was quite freaky cos they dropped u so close to the ground that u barely scrapped the earth beneath.

AIR

this was one of our favourite rides cos instead of being strapped down onto a seat, like most rides do, u are actually moving with your body facing the ground..so it's kinda like a 'superman' ride haha. super duper fun! u are literally zipping up and down like maddddd.

Woosh!! we got flipped upside down so we were staring upwards at the skyyy.love it love it. it was really adrenaline-pumping. after the ride i was literally flushed reddd.

RIPSAW RAMPAGE!

this is an ultra cool ride which turns u upside down inside out until u have screamed ur lungs out.hahaha.i lurved it when they suddenly flipped u unexpectedly when u thought it was finally time to pause for some breather. :)

guaranteed wet!

this was my favourite (but yvette's most hated) part of the ride! you get splashed in the face as you are swinging down! hahaha.

RITA!!!

OMG U WILL LOVE THIS RIDE! its also known as the Queen of Speed. yes yes as the name suggests, this ride is all about speed! i never imagined a roller coaster could go so fast...it really moved at near bullet speed o! at the end of the ride u just get so so so HIGH - it's better than.. than.. drugs. hahahah!

CAROUSEL

reliving our childhood memories. hee hee!

OBLIVION !!

one of the 'stars' at Alton Towers! this is a definite MUST-TRY because it's the world's first vertical-drop roller coaster... a complete moment of zero-G. a sudden vertical drop 135 m into a long dark tunnel so it was really really ultra freaky and spine-chilling. i think u will never ever contemplate committing suicide from a building anymore after the ride.. hahaha.

check out the roller coaster as it teethers precariously at the top. the most freaky thing was the slight palpitating pause just before they plunge u to ur death. wahahaha

woosh! and here it goes!

RIVER RAPIDS

a very nice family ride down the river rapids, which wasn't as tame as it looked. quite enjoyable!
not a very good time to take photos though...cos yeah, u get wet..obviously. hehe!

our last stop for the day... The Haunted House!

the concept for the haunted house was pretty interesting. instead of walking through the house and getting scared... u are put on a roller coaster ride and given 'guns' to shoot the monsters down. it's like a game because u get to earn points for every successful shot and at the end..u compete to see which team wins :):)

in the evening we caught the fireworks display. it was amazingly grand...nothing like what i have seen before. i thought even the recent international fireworks competition held in singapore wasn't anywhere near this. so so so prettyyy =D it was just breathtakingly brilliant and spanned over approximately 20mins. managed to video it but for some reason..i cant seem to upload it here :(

im tired but very very very happy.
