the reception today was ok..basically it just consisted of a couple of talks. i found out that the principal is referred to as the rector here.havnt found out what a chaplain exactly is though.heh.then we just mingled ard..looking for pple staying in other halls and everything.im looking forward to freshers' fair on tue :)

after the freshers' reception, anita and i joined the wilson hall gang to go shopping for essentials and groceries.we took the tube to edgeware road, went to tesco and bought a lotta stuff o :) haha..i finally got my cereals and milk, bread and orange marmalade spread so i won't starve the next few mornings. hehe. forgot to buy fruits again..my body's lacking fibre, maybe tts why ive been suffering from indigestion probs.
then anita and i went to oxford circus.oh yea btw, anita is my piccadilly neighbour..she's from msia, but she's been studying in london for 2 yrs.she's fun, a really nice and bubbly girl to hang out with.we have made great plans to cook together...Oooo i cant wait! hahaa.yea back to oxford circus, we went tojohn lewisto get my bowls, mugs and cutlery.wow john lewis is one heck of a place man, im so going back there again some time soon.it's awesome.. the selection is so big.i got 2 nice big bath towels from there as well =) and yea, anita finally got her water filter.hahaha.
then we proceeded to chinatown with lotsa barang barang in our hands.hahaha we were seriously dying, and wishing that there were guys to help us carry everything.haha.WOAH i love the chinatown here.. it makes me miss sg a lot tho.all the char siew, mooncake and all.haha i got pandan mua chi,hello panda and mooncakes from there.yayyyy. supper tonight! *grins* then we shopped for our spices, mee goreng and mee siam mixes, noodles, condiments etc etc. it was like a mad dash cos we had to rush back to hall for bbq.and i swear tt if we were in Sg, i would have sweat a bucket running ard like tt..but bcos the weather here is so cold u hardly sweat.it's nice in a way.haha.
met the other pc girls at the hall bbq.the hong kong girls are really funny and nice pple.and there's this girl from thai..she's called Gaew and she's so cute =) im reli glad for good flat and hall mates:):) yeah meanwhile im gg to pack my room and get some supper.more updates tmr! I MISS EVERYONE back in singapore!!!!
