sunday! tower of london :)
the tower of london is a dominating landmark in the central of London. the Tower's primary function was as a fortress, a royal palace and a prison (particularly for high status and royal prisoners (such as the Princes in the Tower and the future Queen Elizabeth I)
it was a trip well worth the 12 pounds spent. we had a really interesting guided tour by one of the yeoman warder, who gave us a pretty engaging insight into the history of the castle, how executions were carried out etc.the most memorable one was the public execution of James Scott. eeeeks the thought of it still haunts me now.

tower of london, here we come!
