trafalgar square is so pretty at night :)

too bad there were no pigeons or else shimmie would have gone wild chasing/playing/running after them hahaa..

strawberry trifle!!!

we simply couldn't resist buying this from the tesco next to shim's hall...and we literally just pigged out in her room after that. ohoh so yummy:) it's 4 layers of indulgence and 4 layers of ultimate sin.

lemme break down what's in that tubbie:
1) topmost layer of soft light cream..not those kind of thick heavy cream that weighs down in ur tummy and make u feel queasy and sick
2) custard!sweet and somewhat tastes like condensed milk:)
3) spongy cake that goes so so well with the custard on top
4) jelly with big juicy yummy strawberries at the bottom..lala

and the way to eat the trifle is not to eat it layer by layer like kueh lapis haha.the trick to eating it is to plunge your spoon right down in the middle so you get all 4 layers of the trifle.and it tastes oh so good! im so gonna get chubbier hahaha.

we watched Saving Face in shim's room...it's a show about two lesbians.nothing very explicit haha.i liked the show a lot cos the dialogue is really an equal mixture of both mandarin and english, not something very common in movies. my favourite scene was one where a little girl was looking at the lesbian couple and going, "Are you guys going to kiss?" then she paused and continued,"Are you guys going to French kiss when you go to Paris?" LOL.so cute:):)

it was a very fun weekend :):) finally got to see my two lse gals..yipeee.and and and i managed to skype more than usual. and....i got emacs on my laptop! (hahaha this is what computing does to me) i am one easily satisfied girl. hahaha
