Why do babies cry when they are born?
out of boredom, i decided to google it...
and i managed to solicit some pretty interesting answers :)
"Because the doctor smacks or pinches them to make them breathe - or so i heard."
"A frozen chicken being stuffed through a letter box would cry if it could."
"As most delivery suites are lit up like a xmas party, the lights are very painful after months in the dark."
"Because they can't swear yet."
now, at least this makes more sense:
"In the first minutes of his/her life, every human must do something to fill his/air lungs with air. Without air in the lungs, a baby will die quickly. Crying is the best and most efficient way to quickly pump up the lungs, so that the newborn can enjoy a lietime of breathing the smog and dust in the atmosphere."
