Baking muffins with lilian a few days ago has inspired me to try out baking. Was so determined that i digged up my old rgs cookbook, and went grocery shopping for all my baking needs. Then came back home and remembered why my previous attempt at baking failed so miserably, even with instant Betty Crocker Brownie mix. Turns out my oven has no temperature readings! It's just marked '1' to '10', and I can't find the manual to see what that all means. So does '1' equal 100 degrees? But then that means my oven can go up until 1000 degrees?! Haha, that's some powerful oven. But then if '1' does not equal to 100 degrees, then what on earth can it mean? And if my cookbook specifies
170 degrees...wellz...gg. Haha, but i shall not admit defeat...after all...these stuff are trial and error...
right?
Oh, and had a rather impromptu tg outing to Samar yesterday. Bern finally managed to get the whole bunch of us to check out her fave haunt, and it's surprisingly nice! Loved the deco and the general atmosphere of the place, perfect for chatting with friends and just languishing. :P Bern did not succeed in getting me to try out shisha though, but I must say that PY is simply a natural at it!! Haha, you should just see her puff smoke...it's like she's been doing it all her life! :P Also got wind of my og placing for law camp through PY, and I must say i'm quite glad with where I ended up...At least there's PY and Eugene in the same og, so it's not like i'm going to be totally with people i'm not familiar with. :D

P.s. To those who have not caught Phantom of the Opera at the Esplanade...you guys are missing out on a great performance! The whole stage setting, the live band (with the hip and cool female conductor), the mesmerising music and the powerful vocals from the cast all made it an experience one cannot forget!! Haha, i would urge everyone to watch it...though this seems to be coming rather late, considering how i heard that the last few performances these couple of days are sold out. Oopz.
P.p.s On a random note, the Phantom's actually rather good-looking in real life...Haha, just something PY and I noticed as we past by a photo of him on the way out. :P
P.p.p.s Pirates 3 out this week. I can't WAIT! :D
