Random thoughts about work...
Taking the escalator at exit F of Raffles Place MRT can seriously cause one to be bored to death. I think i can walk up that distance faster than the escalator brings me up.
A most apt description of my current job scope: Sai gang warrior. It's hello to major weight loss by the end of the month. (at least...all those walking BETTER make me slimmer by the start of aug. :P)
The people at the law firm are really nice and friendly...though i think the workload and stress has made them all somewhat cuckoo. :P Ai Ling (the secretary) is especially cute, whining all day long like a little girl. Eg. 'whyyyyy are they callingggg meeeeee', 'urgenttt? everyone all say it's urgentttttt laaaaaaa' *pouts*
Going for completions are like going on blind dates. You never know who you'll meet, and the whole time before you meet them, you pray hard that they won't turn out horrifying (think really cold and sarcastic). When you enter the other law firm, you look around hestitantly, hoping someone will come over and intro themselves with the code words - 'Just Law? You here for completion?', and then you get the answer to what you were praying hard for, which, as with all blind dates, might not be the answer you wanted.
A really queer thought i had when i was walking down Robinson Road from my office to Tanjong Pagar: i LOVE that road. (yes yes i told you it was a queer thought.) It's so unlike other roads in singapore...There's tall office buildings on both sides of the streets which stretch out for a long distance without any side roads in between to break the line. It kind of made me think of New York's commerical district, and for a while, i feel dwarfed and got this surreal feeling that I was walking along a street in some other country.
A photo i took at the end of that long stretch of road.
Yes, as i said, random thoughts...
