Somewhat pissed off by the insensitivity. I told them in the morning that i couldn't turn up for work the day before because of gastric flu, and yet today i only managed to get down to lunch at 3.45pm. Sure, i understand that there's a lot of things for me to send and that some stuff need to be done urgently, but all i need is 15min for lunch break. Was so hungry that the gastric started acting up again as i was queuing up at DBS bank, and because i was waiting in line (which was painfully slow-moving today), couldn't rush off to get food until after i was done quite some time later. I really think that the people there mean no harm, and that they are in fact rather nice, but sometimes i just wish they'd spare a thought for me, even if i'm just a temp. It's no fun running around sick and on an empty stomach.
