Esp loved the Happy Birthday roll of toilet paper! Haha couldn't stop laughing when i saw it. And May was joking that she hoped it won't turn my butt multi-coloured. Lol! :P
Thurs:
Went shopping (haha yes yes i know i'm always shopping...) with Lilian in town. Got the shoes and black necklace that i had been looking for. Very satisfying. :D Still can't seem to find a bag that catches my eye though. Lilian was doing a role-reversal of what i did prior to her birthday, and was vigorously hinting to me to point out which bags i like. Haha, but i think i made it much easier...cos at least i have an idea of what i want, unlike -ahem- a certain someone i know. :P Till date though, there's only one bag that i had KIV-ed, but even though Lilian insisted that we walk back to check if it was available at the Isetan at Wisma, it seems like that bag is only sold at the Parkway branch. Ah wells.
Fri:
Went back to school for matric week dry-run. Turns out the actual dry run was only at night, (ok so on hindsight it is kinda -duh- that it's at night) so only stayed to help out for props-making and set-up. But i must say that the props are SUPER elaborate this year. Was especially impressed with this life-sized one, which apparantly took hours to make. Haha, it was conveniently hung in the MIDDLE of the props room, which left me somewhat stunned for a while when i first entered.
Then rushed off for Corrinne May's concert! Wow she is seriously amazing. Even during live performance her voice is still so melodious yet powerful, and she sings so effortlessly. It's just like listening to her cd, only better, cos you get to see her in person. Swoon. Sadly we got out of the concert hall too slowly after the performance ended, such that there was already a LONG queue for her cd and autograph. So decided against waiting and just left. Darn wasted opportunity...though it kinda proves her point that Singaporeans are patient with waiting for food, but not for anything else. :P
