Cooking, baking, watching tv (korean drama serial my mum is watching, ming zhong zhu ding wo ai ni every monday, so you think you can dance season 3), making earrings, swimming, reading gossip girl books, readings comics, going out...It seems like these days there's just not enough time to do all the things i want to do within the day. Although technically speaking, i guess that's also because i wake up at 11am everyday. So before the day even starts, it's already half gone. :p
Baked strawberry cheesecake today, and it's actually quite yummy! Cracker crumb crust at the base, rich cheese in the middle, and strawberry preserves as the topping: DELICIOUS! (okok so i'm bragging here, but I'm quite proud of this accomplishment, considering my baking experience, or lack thereof. :P) I attribute it to the cream cheese that i bought at the NTUC though. Very good tasting in itself. And with that as the main ingredient, I guess it's really quite hard to go wrong. :P The other dishes that I've conjured up over the week (mozzarella chicken, coleslaw, chicken with cashew nuts, broccoli with oyster sauce) are only so-so. But at least they don't poison anyone, and are actually decent enough to be eaten, so that's a good start I suppose!
Not so great an accomplishment: getting two leg injuries in two days. Haha yes don't ask me how that's even possible. I guess when you have a tendency of bumping into things like I do, nothing's impossible. :P Injury number 1 came about yesterday night as the bottom of my left foot got stabbed by a stray piece of glass from one of the chipped pieces of swarovski crystals that was lying around on my bedroom floor. Injury number 2 happened when my right foot brushed against one of the ringed binders on the living room floor, which somehow managed to cut the area BETWEEN my third and fourth toe. Thankfully, both cuts are rather minor, although now i'm wondering how i'm supposed to go swimming without feeling the sting. Well i suppose there's always plasters, an essential item to have, as my internship stint has taught me. :P
